Sorry for the long delay this week!
Fighting means some of them will die, Flavius and/or Haidar. Surrendering means they all die a slow, agonizing death in laboratories/prison but have a small chance of discovering means of escape. The situation definitely doesn’t favour them. :S
On another note, I wonder what goes on in the minds of those soldiers? They act evil, they get paid for it and they’re okay with it.
Look up “The Milgram Experiments”. That little social mechanism has already been exhaustively examined. Tell me if you want more info.
An interesting read. Thanks.
Well, at least what Wikipedia tells me. Perhaps I should search the library for a book on the subject.
I think that’s a great idea.
You might also consider checking out cracked.com. Type Milgram into the search box, then pick the second option on the list. It will give you some links you can work with.
I wonder if they can “multi-cast” – if Haidar, Flavius and Fabraz can cast simultaneous shaman spells that complement/augment each other… That could be seriously devastating.
Disconcerting reading left to right. Remember right to left.
Protection from missles (no matter how small) or a ground sink type of magic would work here, especially since the main boss-types are leaving.
