Hmm… Now imagine if they shot straight forward and our group ducks in time.
That is quite the welcome though! A small army of armed me! Were they expecting a larger group? Or… do they consider one of them to be a serious threat?
Armed men, even. :/
I would not be surprised if they see fabraz as a threat… im pretty sure that the “thats him!” is directed to him?
Time to see which of the muscle heads in the group can take down the most nameless armed minions.
Question, Fabraz; if technology has advanced to the point that automatic firearms have become safe enough to be compressed into submachinegun mode and widely used by armed forces, why is everyone else still using flintlocks?
I know your question wasn’t directed to me, but.. I wish to add my own opinion, if it is alright by you….
Mayhap the submachineguns are only for armed forces, and they are not available to commoners or just “everyone else” because the government would be trying to keep technology from advancing a lot in the public… . Or perhaps it’s just a slip-up?
“thelightedDarkness” is close. Why do these soldiers have these superior weapons? That suit of power armor from the prison guard seemed rather advanced too.
Come to think of it, humanity managed to get to Aeria with giant airships that were able to destroy entire landscapes with major laser attacks.
So why do most inhabitants rely of steam engines and flintlock guns?
That seems like the general civilization went a step back in technology while Sky Corp, a company theoretically about manufacturing airship parts own and use technology that’s more advanced.
How bizarre indeed, but rest assured, while I won’t reveal a thing, it’s all planned.
Whooo! My speculation is close!
Ahem. Well, I suppose I’ll just wait and see.
So not good.
Magic to repel all metal defeats the use of bullets, regardless of velocity, and the recoil makes firing them deadly while X field is in effect.
